My mom LOVES the set up- super important since I live with her lol I'm thrilled its got a stand since we need one for the tanks we have as is lol

| oh my gosh silver fish = 3 tetras red fish = sunburst platy about 2='' of hugeness (female) sucky fish is a 8'' long bn pleco (male)
46gallon bowfront = 4'+ long bowfront that barely fit in my b backseat of my bonneville. It was a tight squeeze length and width wise.
the tank is in great condition, needs very light cleaning. Stand is in prestine condition.
The owners are a couple, late thrities, that told their teenage son to do the research and post on CL and he could keep the loot. They couldn't figure out why it got so many calls until I told them I paid $40 and there was a 29gallon bowfront posted the same day for $200 that sold quick. They loaded everything for me, wouldn't even let me pick up the filter AND they bungee corded my trunk for me lol because the stand was too big for it to close. The fish are in great health and vibrant, they're hanging in my 30gallon for the time being - which I'm sure sucks horribly for big ole pleco, but it will have to do for now until the big tank is set up.

| he's got the pokey bumpy thing (I'm sure its got a technical name...) on his nose - isn't that what makes it a bn instead of a common? And what tells you its a boy? The owners said they had him for 3 years in their "big" tank but he was getting picked on by the fish in there so they moved him to the tank I bought (they moved him a year ago). According to measurements, my 46 gallon tank is a 72 gallon tank :) not bad for $40, right? the giant platy ate my flippin fry last night (stupid platy) so I've added him to the list of fish to get rid of lol I met a guy last week who is into fish and I emailed him to see if he wanted/had room for the fish that came with the tank or knew anyone that does. The pleco is chillin in my 30 gallon and I feel terrible for him, he can't be happy there, so he needs to go to a home with more room to swim! its too cold to put him in our pond just yet (and the house with the pond is an hour away) so I'd have to keep him for a few weeks in a little tank and I think that might be miserable. We had a pleco in our pond before and set up an area for him to go in the winter but it got cold suddenly before we got him out :( I got the tank thinking I'd use it for a killifish tank for my mom - surprise her with her! When she saw it she said "Maybe we should use this for your fish...or cichlids" wtf - where did the random cichlid comment come from?! I guess it makes sense with a big tank but uhh...at least I have time to research. | |

| Okay well if others have them then they can grow to 8" I've never seen on that large myself and would like to see one next to a ruler. That would be such a neat pic. |

| If I was photo-inclined, I'd take such a picture for you lol of course, 8'' is an estimation on my part based on take height. Hopefully I'll find someone with a nice big tank for him, I feel so bad that he's in my little tank :( but it was either take them or let them be flushed. | |

| I included the tail in my estimate. He's a cool fish, big like that picture - kinda prehistoric looking. I'm hoping to find a tank for him soon locally. I've put out some feelers and the guy I met is puttig out some feelers. If not, I'll CL him I suppose. | |
