I noticed my Yellow lab last night looked different than usual. Since i have been spending so much time on the saltwater tank i didnt notice that the yellow lab is swelling up it looks like. I dont know how long it has be progressing but its body is puffed up. Its eyes are kind of bulging too. Its just sitting in the back of the tank on the bottom under one of the heaters. None of the other fish are picking on it but im not sure if somethings wrong with it or if its pregnant? I have no idea. The fish have all been in the tank almost a year and have never had fry and i really dont want fry anyways. Any one have any pics of what a preg yellow lab may look like or a diagnosis on what may be going on. Thanks

I just googled and it sounds like people lean toward the fish having what they refer to as Malawi Bloat. Look that up.

i agree. this is why i suggested cloat as a treatment. also metronidazole will work. bloat is hard to treat if noticed to late. good luck.
