Let the carnage begin Hope it works for you Kory...I think theses dwarfs should be housed in a monstrous tank so they can stop beating each other up. I have a group of 30 now down to 20, several females are holding. I hope the process of weeding out of the weak is over...

Nope mine is from my old wild colony that I gave to a friend. He threw them into a 300 gallon vat and they multiplied like rabbits, no stripping just let nature takes it course. One time visited him and I scooped a net full, I think I got 30 or so...and then the carnage began lol..yeah you saw them in the 55g coming out of Holey rocks holes and crevices...these are one of the meanest mbunas that ever existed hahaha.

I am thinking on putting some 1" PVC in the tank...not aesthetic but the females can definitely use some hiding spots...

Kory, looking good brother!
I had mine in a 40 Breeder and they all killed each other (36 of them)
I started over with a new batch of 20 in a 125 Gallon. I put my super aggressive Neochromis in there to break up any aggression since he is a super alpha male. It's been over a month and I have no casualties. I'm crossing my fingers that the third attempt at breeding these guys will be successful. I'm now looking to diversify the gene pool by finding more juvies from other breeders. Here is my tank:

I agree. Kory probably turns on fish porn for them and gets them all excited... seems like all his fish are holding.
