So, yesterdayvi was checking my tank as usual.... 1 Ito stuck to the glass and the other 1 looked funny. I have then in my guppy tank with some stocking or hose over the intake of the filter to save guppy lives. But 1 Ito was stuck my his spine under his eye! Poor baby! He could have starved to death! I very carefully worked him and the spine loose. He seems fine now. I was so worried about him. Is this a freak accident or has anyone heard of this before?

I use sponges over my intakes . Have to remove them to clean them but they are way effective with out the "spine sticking " problem .

I have had similar issues when using a brine net to transfer them from tank to tank. In my case it's temporary use and managable. With yours being a 24x7 issue, I would look at replacing the stocking with a sponge. Better safe than sorry right?
