Haplochromis limax: Info please...they had these guy in a mbuna tank on sale at petsmart picket him up and placed him in my 20g along with yellow labs and blue labs and julies

WOW! Cool fish, weird to find it at Petsmart. These are hard to find, at 2inches im sure its hard to tell the sex but any coloration of red will make it a male, females show no red at all(or colors).

yes u can see the red and blue in him and the dots on the back dorsal fin very beutifull fish hope he makes it also got a Cynotilapia afra and red zebra alsoJulidochromis ornatus for 2.50 each there about 1 inch

Your PetSmart Manager must be a cichlid lover, all I ever see at mine are red zebras, yellow labs and bumblebees...

the best deal I got at PS was a pair of blue ahli fo $8each.I got some Surinamensis there recently,but they all died.
