| I got a friend that has 5 freshwater crayfish on a 20gl tank, 3 females are full of eggs, hes gonna give me a pair but im not sure if they will do good with cichlids.., any suggestions please post!! i really like these im posting pics soon! | |

| I have had them do just fine with cichlids, and the cichlids were the ones that had to watch out! It really depends on what kind of cichlid and how big the crays are. Give them caves and hidey holes. | |

| well the crays are about 5" body only.. he told me they should not grow no more.., the cichlids i got are agressive so im more worried about the crayfish lol... | |

| I 2 had theses and well the polys loved em. I would say they r gonna become food in no time at all. If u wanna make sure just do 1 in the tank first. | |

| Yeah i've been reading a lot from them.., im gonna try putting them on my 55gl which is where i have less agressive fish, and i got to figure how to build nice caves for them.. all i know is that i have one mom holding big time... so soon you will see me selling Florida crayfish lol.. | |

| In our cray tanks we have pyramids made of PVC pipe , cut in 6-8 inch lengths and glued together with aquarium glue . 1 size big enough for the adults to get into , and another size for babies to hide in. | |

| No , coconut shells are ok in your tanks . I have some in a couple tanks . I have a "Hairy" pleco that calls one home , and a couple Multifasciatus that call one home . Have fun with it ! LOL Ray | |

| Are these the blue crayfish? I have had them before, I just don't remeber their exact name. But I had an issue with my oscars picking on them, but they stopped after awhile and a couple of pincher nips =) But the cray fish got along with everyone in my tanks. | |
