Hi...
New Guy I'm not sure exactly how this works. I just purchased a 55 gallon tank and have not yet decided whether to make it fresh or salt water. I just thought I would come on here and see what ideas any of you can give me. I thought of brackish water as well but decided against that one. Let me know what you recommend. Thanks fish fish H E L P !!

Well saltwater well be more expensive to set up. Not really hard but more technical. For colorful freshwater you can do African Cichlids. Or if you like plants a SA cicnlid and tetra tank. All depends on your taste and budget.

It's hard to tell you what way to go with your tank without knowing what you are interested in.
