Hi all. I'm another of the Nevada contingent, living in North Las Vegas though originally from New Zealand.

I have 7 tanks, though 4 are a variety of crowntail and regular bettas. The 55 gallon contains a motley crew - 1 angelfish, a couple of blood parrots, a peacock eel (when I can find him!), a blue gourami, pleco, and long-finned rosy barbs. The 29 gallon is where my smaller fish went when I adopted the parrots (many of my fish came to me as 'rescues' from foreclosed properties in the neighbourhood) and contains emerald cats, gold barbs, a lone glofish and what I think is a red-fin tetra. The 14 gallon has a couple of mickey mouse platys, some von rio tetras and a little scum sucker.

As well as the fish, I have 2 dogs (and looking for a third), a hamster, lizards and a parakeet. It's in my blood to be an animal hoarder ;)

I'm looking forward to getting to know everybody :)

Favorite Fish: : really getting interested in corals. Pretty fond of Ricordea mushrooms... so many colors and a very forgiving coral.

Thanks for the welcome, everybody :)

Just an update ... got that 3rd dog today with yet another foreclosure victim. Right now, my bully mix and this tiny little guy are tearing around the house creating havoc. LOL. Probably do the big guy some good. My affenpinscher won't have a bar of him!

Flappyfish, I had to laugh today when my mother asked me why I'd want three dogs. I grew up in a quarter acre zoo. And then, we upgraded.
