It is always the case! My largest is a 240g tank with 360g planted sump on it crazy

If you start watching craigslist now you will find the tank you need for a good price by the time they need it. I got my 240g acrylic for $300 that way.

Nice looking pair. I have kept pairs of all the Parachromis, but the jags and loiselleis are the only ones able to work in a community.

Not easy to get compatible tank mates. You have to raise them all from very small to maturity so that all they know is each other. Then there always seems to be understanding of boundaries. However, the male jag is still the ruler without too much dispute, he also is the peace maker. Except when the carpinte is trying to get the female to spawn. He then shows off his male ego for his woman and the jag just swims right by and brushes him off. Strangely, (well maybe not) the cabro aka hornets are the hyper aggressors, for short bursts, then the peacemaker arrives to cool them down. WOW wrote a novel if you made it to the end thanks, I sure wouldn't be able to, too much A.D.D. :)

Fern unfortunately, I hate used tanks, can't stand scratches and I want to be sure all those seals are new and fresh. I am going to buy a starpphire glass 375 from Glasscages and mount it in wall on a steel frame. However $300 for a 240 would have been VERY tempting.

starpphire glass Is pretty over rated. There are 2 tanks made with it in the lfs I work at and after a few months of trying to figure out what ones they were I finally gave it up.... Not much difference in looks if you ask me.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. The fish are all settling into their territories and strangely somewhat peaceful for the type fish that are swimming around.
