| Hi, I just joined this forum. I have now been in the hobby of fish keeping for a year now. (Bought my first tank a year ago). I have enjoyed it so much I bought a second tank and can't wait for my own place so I can upgrade to a 55. I currently own one 16 and one 10 gallon. | |

| hahah I should have posted the fish I have. In my 10 gallon, which is a half moon, I have my betta and three neon tetras. They were actually getting along for a while but now the betta is starting to lose bits of his fin and I think it's the tetras picking on him so I'm thinking about moving them to the 16 gallon. The 16 gallon is bow-front and currently has 6 Corydora (spell that right?) cat fish, and guppies. Five females and one male (which I just got four days ago). I originally had a bunch of guppies but around August last year I got some wicked disease in my tank that killed all of my fish so I had to take the tank apart and boil and clean things and re-cycle it. The 16 gallon is also planted with Javamoss and fern. | |

| Thank you all for the wonderful greeting! I already feel at home :)
Elrollo - Yes, lol I am currently freezing right now. It's going to hit a high of 9 today and my heater thought it would be cute and turn off during the night so I woke up to a brisk cold house.

| Sweet, a fellow Minnesotan! lol Welcome edub! It sounds like you have a pretty awesome collection! I can't wait for my own place where I can get larger tanks and not have to worry about breaking them down a year later and trying to move them somewhere.
As for my heater, nothing is broken really... it just likes to auto-shutoff for some reason. During the day I can catch it and fix it but at night? lol nope, so I typically wake up to an ice cold house.

| I have, the Land Lord attempted to do something... lol he tries and he isn't one of those who just ignores something. He just doesn't know what he is doing and I feel bad for the guy at times.
And I do, my husband, dog, cat, and lots of blankets! lol
