Just joined after finding the site. It looks like the Virginia group is pretty active, especially around Richmond. This is strange to me since there are apparently no fish stores around here. Anyway…I’ve just in the last six months had my interest in my tank re-kindled. It’s been running for about eight years but for about the last four I’ve only done water changes and feeding. Some of the fish are at least 10 years old and the number of fish had really dwindled. A few months ago I started restocking with some Oto’s from a semi-local breeder, then I bought some new Corydoras at a recent convention in Fairfax. As luck would have it when I moved some Java Moss to the quarantine for the Corydoras I also transferred some rainbowfish eggs. I now have about 15 small rainbows which will round out the stocking for the tank. Looks like a great site, I hope I’m able to contribute a little bit.
