Hi guys I'm having several issued here in my tanks ...I need some help i think I'm way over my head..


I have a jelly bean parrot flay nose(coral). in a 20g along with a giant apple snail and a wild Florida molly.

In the last couple of days Coral has been swimming sideways in the bottom of the tank. she's swollen in the egg sack area...(corals lays eggs every months)she has not in not lay ed eggs in 3 months. what can i do to help her? its looks like shes not going to make it and shes been in the family for almost 10 years.

She sounds egg bound. I've never owned a jelly bean or any other parrot. I did have a hybrid cichlid that I would not breed and every now and then I would have to gently squeeze her to release eggs.

i say 10 yrs is good for a cichlid, maybe its her time.

How about the parasite infection in my 55g i cant get rid off. I ahve tried, Temps. Chemicals, salts,water changes. My wife whants me to bring down the tank and redo it again.....
