| They look great! I herd if you put shells in there like that its hard as HELLL to get the fry and sometimes the adults and when they go to hide they will get stuck in the back and die. I herd from my buddy David which is a TCA member that small PVC pipes are best that way you can get to them when needed and they cant get stuck! He had breed 100's so I thought id let you in on that tip. Cant wait to get mine ;0) | |

| First patience... second Lowes... third a bucket... fourth wire mesh...
You take a bucket fill it with the tank water, Next you find out which shell they hid in, Then you put the wire mesh over the top of the bucket and turn the shell at angle where if they try to wiggle out they fall in the bucket. I have had this work with multis at half an inch. If after about 30 seconds they dont fall out, put the shell back in the tank and make sure you turn the shell at every angle to let the air out and the water in. You can actually hold the shell up to your ear after a few seconds and hear the fish moving.
Hope this helps and good luck with your Multis. I have used this on 3 types of shellies so far and it works everytime. I even take the wire mesh and form an indention(sic) in it and force it down in the bucket half way down and they have no way to flop out.
By the way the best shells for them are at Michael's and they are cheap. You don't want to get a shell that is to big. I get mine here in PHX and I get about 10-12 for 3 bucks. | |

| Well, there is a difference between the two ideas. Mike was talkin bout takin the shells completely outta the water, and the article said to have the shells in the water just up high.
