Hello everybody, I am new to this forum and fairly new to the cichlids as well. I am crazy about fish and aquariums but i just cant seem to find any good stores around me. I live around Tacoma, WA if anyone can help. I am looking for really nice african peacocks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can send you some in the mail ;0) I would say your local fish stores are going to have the same thing as everyone. Some yellow labs , zebras and my fav assorted cichlids as LFS like to call it. Shipping is cheap.

Ya man i try all the LFS and have no luck at all. I just recently found a one with a great selection of peackocks and other africans but the problem is i dont know what the names are and what they turn into as far as color lol. They seem to know alot about them but i just want some suggestions, i love the blue and yellows, and that fish over on the vendors for kmx with blue,yellow, and green is amazing. I already have a yellow lab of course, and OB peacock mixed with a electric blue (thats what the LFS name it not for sure) a kribensis, a yellow tail acei. And thats its, and ya your are very right most stores around have the ASST africans WTF am i supposed to do with that???

20-30$$ depending on how much you get. My prices are way lower then LFS price so you would still be saving $$$

That's what I'm tryin to breed right now.

KMX is definitely cheaper than the LFS's.

Nelson has a better selection then I do. But they are very far away from each other. Sending fish from FL to WA. Might be tricky and cost some $$$$

I have been there and they are so hit or miss, sometimes they have good and most of the times its no good. But once again they dont have a good selection of cichlids. Where are you located if you think its worth the drive i will do it.
