| Hello Everyone! Like to introduce myself. I keep mostly cichlids. All are now cramped insi.de for the winter. I can't wait for summer. My new interest is now fish from Madagascar. I do have other fish as well. 3 fish that are approx. 20 years of age.2 large ornate bichirs and 1 Syn. Angelicus. I feel lucky to have had them for so long. I have two recent spawns , and both groups are growing well. Ptychochromis Grandidieri have been good parents protecting the fry when I approach the tank . I'm having a good time on this site, great info!! Thx | |

| Thank you All 3 fish I bought in Az before moving here. In fact the 2 Bichirs this last summer were constantly swimming side by side, out in the pond. This went on for about a week. I didn't see any eggs , but I understand that they will eat them. Maybe next summer!! I can only wish. My 200 gal has about 60 fish in it now, I think it has to many fish in it. I just do lots of water changes. I have big filamentosa barbs and misc. cichlids. The angelicus cat is king. He goes out in the pond every summer for the last 15 years ,I guess he likes it outside | |

| Sounds like you need to start looking for a 2nd winter tank to supplement the one you have now |
