Frontosa and Victorian nerd requesting permission to come aboard

Hi there, long time Cichlid keeper, and recent Victorian and Frontosa entusiast (about 1 1/2 or was it 2 1/2 years for both.) I have about 1000 gallons running at the moment, and I'm trying to get active in more forums than Frontosa and Cichlidsofvictoria, though they are definitely my stomping grounds. You're welcome to check me out on those sites under the same user name. Cichlidsofvictoria is a great site dedicated to the conservation of the remaining Victorians.

Anyways, I'm not just here to plug those sites ;) I hope to learn from this community which I have heard very good things about, and am more than willing to share what I have floating around between my ears! Also I have some great fry to sell

Thanks for the very warm welcome everyone! and the glowing endorsement Fern ! KMX I've seen you over on frontosa.com I think, but not for awhile. Fern I think you've seen most my fish actually ;) other than 5 vics and 2 Gibberosa (frontosa) species I have two Mbuna and one lone Goldhead Compresiceps that lost her mate last month.

Here's some pics of the Gibberosa, and some of my vics, the vics are still young, and I expect allot more color out of them.

Very cool, I really want to get into Discus, but I am off to Japan for who knows how long, and I am worried enough as it is leaving my fish with my family. I moved back to their home this fall and am giving them a crash course in cichlid keeping before I jet off. The old man did take an interest in Discus though when I took him to Wetspot (Steve Lundblads shop) in Portland last week and the water here is soft

Lol I am beyond nut and growing into a tree! I've literally been sleeping next to my 150 gallon Mpimbwe tank for the last 2 months, and frankly I like it
