so, anyone ever get a microscope out??

My son is wanting to do a science fair project on the types of microbes found in aquarium water. He took water from the filter, and we found sone microscopic worms as well as an eight legged bug.... kinda freaky! Just wish I know how to take pics of them!

thats kool!!! now the taking pic is not going to be easy lol, u can look up pics on the web to closely fit the critters u seen but thats the only way u can do it tho unless u hav a scope with cam built in.

Lol, yea.... Thats how we identified most of the organisms as protazoa. Im too cep (or to poor, take your pic) to buy a microscope with a camera built into it. I got two off ebay while I was in Germany for super cheap, Im lucky those have a light built in, lol.

lol ya most def i wouldnt be able to afford one either and i wouldnt own one anyways bc my cat would knock it over and let the dogs hav it, to many animals lol

I think I have one that hooks to the computer, I just need to find it.
