Help this lonely cichlid

I put a divider in my 55 gal aquarium to separate my female firemouth from the males because they had been roughing her up she has torn fins So im gonna treat with melafix while shes separate from the males. She has a length of 14 inches of space and since I put her by herself though shes like really lonely and staying hidden most of the time and dont really want to come out to eat. Will she adjust its only been 24 hrs? Should I put her back? Or maybe just get more females to go in the tank????????

She should be ok, they freak out sometimes when separated. But you should try to get more females.

ya she will come out again just nervous of being alone def listen to wat fern says!!!
