My friend has some angel fish in his tank and it has something on its tail. It looks like a little cotton ball or something. Does anyone have any idea of what it could be and how we could help it. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

it may be ich i would quaratine the fish and raise the temp to 86, if it does not work then use some stuff to get rid of the ich as well.

Cotton ball and fuzzy looking tends to be fungus, if it is fungus methylene blue is the best for it. Treat in a bare QT tank and it will stain the silicone.
Like the others said a pic would really really help!
