Welcome aboard!!

welcome

Silver dollars are schoolers and do best in groups of 5 or more. With your tank size, that would be crowded.

Try to vary the foods you offer. These guys are also largely vegetarian, so make sure the foods you offer are high in vegetable matter such as spirulina.

Good luck!!

yes most community fish r schoolers so u do need more of each fish, u hav plenty of tetras, but not the other i would trade him or get a bigger tank to get more for him.

You need to do a water change every 2 weeks. 25% or so is fine.
What kind of tetras are in there?

Razor blade and white vinegar.
http://animal-world.com/encyclo/information/calculate.htm Here you can figure out what size it is on there.

Can you try to get a pic of the algae eater? If its a common pleco you want to get rid of him asap.

silvers dollars not good big and spook easy can possibley break glass at full size and they will eat any live plant. You should keep a ammonia alert monitor inside your aquarium and check it daily
