the Euphyllia paradivisa, commonly known as the branching frogspawn coral is a LPS(large polyp stony) coral. easily maintained and often known to be a beginner coral. This coral has a large skeleton and its polyp heads consist on many tentacles with many tips on them and resemble a cluster of frog eggs hence the name. It requires plenty of space between it and other corals due its long "sweeper" tentacles that pack a nasty sting for other corals. it prefers low water movement and is tolerable of high lighting but prefers moderate/high lighting. It will benefit from occasional spot feeding but it contains Zooxanthellate which supply it with food through photosynthesis. Additional supplements of calcium should be added to keep its skeleton strong and healthy.

temp: 72 - 78°F
Water Parameters: sg 1.023-1.026; pH 8.1-8.4; dKH 8-12
tank size: 30 gal or larger but small specimens are often kept in nano tanks but due to their aggressive nature towards other corals, care should be taken with placing a frogspawn into a nano
