| I use it in my canisters with the other chemical filtration works great! Love that stuff, I havn't had a fish die on me in longer than I can remember! | |

chemical filtration is usually the mid stage not the final... it usually go mechanical, chemical and then biological. I have an Xp4 and i put mine in the 2nd basket towards the bottom.. | |

| The way the eheim pro is set up the only place to put it is on top so I guess I don't have a choice.. | |

| Finally got a good page on where the chrm stage is..it's at the bottom. They just don't include carbon or any other chem bc it reduces the time between maintenance periods..I'm gonna just flatten out three small chemi pure bags on top of the bio rocks at the bottom and let it run. That should do the trick | |
