Just got back from IBC show in Cal.

I entered this beautiful boy in the OBC Cal. show. He's a HMPK ( HalfMoon Plaket ) Betta. Judges loved him but said his caudal is too short and his other fins are to long for a Plaket. Oh well better luck next time.

You're right I don't but once in a while you will get one in a batch. There are plakets in all strains of Bettas and sometimes you'll get one.

He's nice, BUT the one in your avator is beautiful. Enter that 1 next time.
I'd give it the blue ribbon.

Yes thank you. I've been trying to get another one out of the breedings but so far out of 4 spawns there aren't any. That's what makes them so rare. It's hard to get any and the black females are sterile so you can't just breed two blacks.
