post more pictures. if he has always looked like that, i wouldnt be 100%. they are supose to be blue like the pictures above. maybe hes stressed in the pic idk

only thing i would say is a bit off is the body, usually there a lot more slender, but it could also just be bad genes, poorly breed continously. I had one just like it that got killed, and he would always stay more towards navy blue instead of electric blue.

lighting can play a role in the color tho. plus the resolution of the pics are not great since they were taken with a cell phone.

It is some variant of Copadichromis, maybe a hybrid of that and a electric blue. It is not a pure electric blue fryeri for sure.

I say that more for the body than the color. This is a pic of one of my Copadichromis

I think this is a.... 100_1113

Most, but not all Copadichromis have a few black spots on their sides. The pic of the fish in question does have vertical bars like a fryeri, but the body of a Copadichromis. I would say once upon a time in the family tree there was a Copadichromis Azureus that bred with the fryeri.

I am not 100% sure either way from the pic, but if you sell it you need to know what you are selling to price accordingly.

thats what i say, the body is a bit off, it could be a cross between a azuerus and electric blue, but i don't know.
