| SO I found another 90 gal tank with everything here in town. Even has fish I like Uaru SA Cichlids. The tank also comes with a African cichlid a Buffalo head. the tanks with everything $300. BUT I would sell off some stuff and then it would be only $150 kind of heres how I figuar.
So I'm thinking I want $150 for the 55 gal with tank, stand, hood and lights, fish food, 2 HOB filters (Mature ready to go no need to cycle), heater, gravle, and some decorations. I might even throw in a fish or 2. 1 african buffalo head cichlid that I would give away with the new tank along with a dwarf african cichild. I would also throw in the 10Gal hospital tank. Thats a good deal right? What do you guys think?

| I think $300 is a bit high for a 90 gal but it does come with everything even fish that are hard to find. But it is only 3 years old.She wanted $375. She knows I'm a crazy fish person and her uaru will be loved so maybe when I meet with her she will go lower.
I don't have room for a bigger tank. I have a 5foot 100 gal that's my big tank. I also rent so I can't go over 100gal. when we get a house then I can trade my 100 gal in for a 150 gal or 180 if I'm lucky. But for now the 90 gal is as big as I can fit.
Is the 55 gal the good deal? I'm trying to price that setup right.

| i generally will not pay more than $2 a gallon if it includes a stand and stuff. an exception is made for small tanks and extremely large / unusal sized tanks. also for really nice lights / filters.
although i do have to search for a while sometimes lol.

| Yeah an empty tank should be $1-$2 per gal. But a tank with everything that is ready to go I would spend more.
Also your 55 gal did they come with anything?

| my only thing is most of the time when i buy a used tank nothing works lol. so i have to buy all new filters / heater and etc. if everything is in good condiction it is worth more money. you market will have a lot to say with how fast it sells. | |
