| thank you h0ngkn0t2.....not nearly as nice as your tanks but I'm proud of it....just glad it is done for now....of course, who knows what'll it look like in the am as the dojos are active and strong | |

| That looks very nice! One thing with dojos and plants, if they do uproot them don't try to plant them back in the same spot they will just do it again. Re plant them in a different spot each time they are uprooted and eventually they will like where you put their plants I went though that with my dojo and corys almost every time I would add new plants, I swear they decorate the tank not you |

| thank you Fern....I've resorted to putting the smaller plants into pots and burying the pots
Cajun, my advice is to get hardy plants with large root balls or bulbs...I'm going to set up a 29 gallon to grow out the cuttings that folks will usually give away...of course in my situation, I have professional aquascapers residing in my tank so I had no choice but large plants unless I wanted them all to be floating plants LOL
swords are easy and don't require co2....I've seen a tiger lotus that was beautiful and huge and I have 2 bulbs in pots that are lotus but not sure if they're red tiger
mainly, go with what you like....I plan to buy the fertilizer sticks that Hagen mfgs as I've seen the results and they're a once a year product
