My Betta Pictures

This first one is a Pheno Melano Black Half Moon Betta. This balck one believe it or not is the father to the two blue boys (one is my avatar) That are going to the show this week end.



This one is a Cambodian /Salamander Half Moon Betta. I just breed him.



Here is the female he was breed to. She is also a Salamander. She is his sister which is how you breed Bettas.



And this is one of thier two week old babies.

WOW!!! These are some cool lookong betta's. I never realized how nice they can be. I'm use to seeing the Walmart betta's that look sick all the time. Impressive

With all the bettas I'vs hamdled. By far yours are the bert I've seen. Good luck at the show.

Yes most Betta's that are sold in the major chain stores are either old already or they are breeder rejects. You will never see a nice healthy young 4 or 5 month old Betta in the stores. I take pride in the fact that mine are all show quality. The two blue boys that I am showing are only 5 months old. Between 5 and 8 months is when they are at there best. Mine are all home raised none of them come from a store. The black boy in about 6 months old and he is from Thailand. He is in my breeding stock and will never be sold. An interesting thing about black females is that they are all sterile. I have some really nice other colored females that I may put up for sale ( maybe some of the males too). Females are nice community fish and add a lot of color to a tank. More then one female can be kept together where as the males have to be kept seperate or they will fight sometimes to the death. Hense the name "Fighting Fish".......Thanks so much for the complements.

Ok here's another one. This one is a marble HalfMoon male.

Here is a Butterfly HalfMoon male. They are called Butterfly when they have different coloring around the outside edges.

This one is called a Grizzle HalfMoon because of her coloring.

so the one I'm getting is a butterfly half moon?

as i said on the other forum i would take watever u can give me. i would luv one male and a few female. like a harem for him, lol. thats wat i do with my swordtail and balloon mollies.
