WTB Tang cichlids for sale in Dallas area

Does anyone have any info they could share about a fish store in the Dallas area that has a good variety of Tang cichlids (Trets, nkembae, kendalli, ventralis, pectoralis, sexfasciatus). I moved to middle of nowhere Oklahoma and most online places won't ship here with no guarantee of arrival time and cost for fedex overnight to this area is over $100. Dallas is about 4hrs and would like a heads up on some good stores in the area as to not drive all that way for nothing. OK City did not have much and their suppliers did not offer what I was looking for. I had Tangs on and off for a long time and they have kept me in the hobby. Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

For Tangs, Rift2Reef is your best retailer. Got some trets last week. Regular price is $9 per, got them for additional 25% off, not sure if he is running any specials right now, I'm sure he would if you ask. Fish Gallery has some, but more $ and less selection.

Thank you for the quick responses. I will call the Rift2Reef store tomorrow and wait for a reply from KMX on the forum as well. I just got a 150 gallon tank and it's driving me nuts not being able to get the fish I want for it.

i would go for kory(kmx) first. his will most likley be cheaper. and he can get you what you want

Kory has some nice looking fish, so I would definitely check with him.

I would check with Davesfish.com His shipping to OK is $15-$20 and he has the best quality of fish HANDS DOWN! Not to mention he gaurntees everything and he will beat any retailer as far as price.. I have orderd from him and never had a DOA. EVER. If you are a Certified Member you get 10% off.

You can also order from Khrister, and Holey Rock of Texas. VERY NICE fish and WAY below store price! Also if you are a Certified Member you get a discount with both of those guys! Khrister has some of the best tangs around. Rift to Reef buys from Khrister if that tells you anything.

Rift 2 reef I herd is good but never have been.

All I have as far as tangs go. Leleupi, Petracola, Brundi Frontosa, and a few Julies. I am low on stock as of now. I am heavy with Mbuna right now.

Thanks to everybody in this fish community. I really appreciate the feedback and will be heading to Dallas this weekend. I will also check out Dave's Fish too if the trip doesn't fulfill my needs. Again, thank you to all that responded.

Went to Rift2Reef (apparently they moved and I went to the wrong store , but found them) and Dallas North Aquarium. Great experience in both stores.

Thought I'd post an update. NEVER, EVER will I by Brichardi's again. I had them in the tank with Fronts, Calvus, Marlieris and Leleupis and they seemed to get along alright (they are a bit bigger than the Brichardi's), but when I put the new fish in, it was not good. All if the fish were restricted to a one foot area of a six foot tank. Needless to say, Brichardi's now live with some Malawis in a 30 gallon tank. After the move, the six foot tank is a thing of beauty. Fish everywhere and I'm lovin' it! I've had Brichardi's before, but they were not the kings of the tank like these guys, so they may have been less aggressive because of it. With four of them in there, it was like a gang protecting their turf.
