| I am partial to catfish, not sure exactly why. They are lazy little creatures but I like to watch them. Red Tails and Tiger Shovel-Nose are my favs. | |

| so if you answer pleco's isn't that the same as answering catfish, i am under the impression that the pleco is a type of catfish? go with catfish, they keep the gravel in my tanks really clean. | |

| I'm gonna have to go with corys on this one but my second favorite would be shrimp. Watching my red cherry shrimp fight something 500x bigger than him for fish flakes is hilarious. Plus when they swim, it reminds me of the shrimp in Nemo that cleans the algae. | |

| Plecos are very different from cat fish. Cats are scavengers and plecos tend to be algae eaters. Another big thing is the make up of their mouths. |

| I voted Plecos. Love them & so many to choose from. The main reason is they are great tank mates for African Cichlids and thats mainly what I have.  | |
