| My brother is wondering what he can do to make his fish tank look better because I am out of clues. All I can think of is to change the rocks. What do yall think? | |

| Change the gravel out for sand, the plants will do much better.
The plants look way too orderly. Planted tanks look better when its random. |

| He's not going to do sand. I was thinking of black gravel for him but everyone compliments him on the pink/orange so he's going to keep it | |

| Add some more plants and move around some of the existing ones, make it random. Another one or two small bit of driftwood would look nice as well. |

| I'm doing the random plants now and it doesn't look too good. I want my planted tank to look like art. | |

| Can't help you then, I always go with the random natural look, plants dont grow in nature in nice neat rows..... |

I agree with you. This is my brothers tank, but for my tank, I like for the tank to have some sort of order.

| i would take the big df out and use manzanita instead, you could use those rocks to postion it. the grass in the foreground, looks like micro sword, should be spread out way more.
tall plants in the back and sides are cool and see if you can find some midground plants that would be nice too

| what about changing the gravel out for a planted substrate. There are many out there in different colors. And it will add some benefit to the tank itself. Plants look nice and healthy btw. | |
