Hey Guys I am now back with a new comp and new internet service b/c i live out in the country it is hard to find a good internet service but hopefully this one will work better. This last week in Arkansas We had a ice storm and I lost power for 5 days and all my Cichilids Died I had a generator but it crashed as well so now I have a fishless tank and a broken generator but the good news is I will have my generator back on Friday! All I have to do is not find some cichilds b/c our local fish store stoped selling them! but I was sad b/c i lost all 10 of my Fish!

Rusty

Its ok I have been thinkin about turning it into a salt water tank but I have a bag of cichlid sand mixed in with all my crushed coral would I have to clean out the sand if I wanted to turn it into a saltwater tank

My heart goes out to you!!!! I know first hand on what that feels like! Hopelessness and sheer fear!!! The ice storm we encountered in MONTREAL, CANADA was like no other!! Lost all my fish! 4,000 bucks maybe more, litterly down the toilet!!!! Did not have a genarator or anything. Without power for nearly a week and a half. Heart all broken, was going to give up the hobby all together. A good friend and a fellow hobbist showed up at my door on day, handed me a bucket that contained 8 little frontosa! Just when I thought I was out of the game, My bubby pulled me right back in!!!!!!! Im glad how things turned out because now I am back in the game and fish up the ying- yang!!!!!! Now I got myself back up power and everything!!!! If you are looking for nice but too expensive fish, Try Reserve Cichlids and you will see that they have a lot of nice looking fish. I have ordered from them and that the fish are amazing with no hybrids at all!!! NO DOAs and have not lost one at all. They are packed very well and are conditioned for shipping. Dont give up!!!! Please.
