| ok, first teh pics are not that great however the top pic (pinkish one) looks like an aiptasia, or glass anemone (PEST ANEMONE). the bottom pic looks like a feather duster of some sort (but again pics arent all that great to make it easy to tell you) |

| So I happened to be at the lfs when I saw your post so I showed it to the owner and he said the same thing as lordraptor1. The aiptasia is kind of like a weed in the salt water world is how it was described to me. There is a link below that will take you to a page that tells you how to control their growth if you dont want them. The owner of the lfs said he has never seen a blue feather duster put that there are purple-ish ones and that is most likely what it is. Hope that helps.

| They make an Aiptasia Control liquid in the LFS. I owuld try that. Be careful when you go to apply the liquid, if an Aiptasia gets bumped, it can release little sprouts that cant be seen, inot the water coloum. Once you have them under control, regular water changes will help keeping them in and preventing them them. Herres a couple of links that could help you out also: http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/msubpestaiptasia/p/aiptasia.htm http://saltaquarium.about.com/cs/anemonecare/a/aa100798.htm | |

| thank you to everyone who gave me the info i was looking for. the one that is like a blueish purple might just be some type of feather duster but i am not too sure. whatever it is it does still look cool to me. the aiptasia are on parts in the tank that i can remove and wash in the sink thank god, although they are kinda cool looking i dont want my take to become over run with them. thank you all once again for the info. | Peppermint shrimp eat apatasia like candy and the Blue worm at the bottom is one of the zillion basket worms. | |

| 1. Aiptasia anemone, nuisance. AiptasiaX/Joes juice works good to kill them. 2. harmless feather duster. in the 2nd pic I also see what looks like bubble algae removed it carefully you dont want it to pop in the tank because it will release more spores. | |
