| I've heard that temperature has a lot to due with what the sex of your fry will be. When I was breeding them many years ago, I would have all males and very little female fry. Of course the males were easier to sell so I wasn't complaining. I haven't read much literature on it so once you find out, please share! Good luck to you! How old are your fry? They all look like females when they start out, don't be surprised when the "females" start developing gonopodiums. :) | |

| That is an interesting predicament. But with live bearers all you really need is one male and at least 30 of the females will be pregnant within a month. I have also heard that temp is related to sex in some types of fish.... Not sure if its true for endlers though. |

| what they eat also plays a big part in it too.
i keep mine at about 79-82' and feed a combination of brine shrimp flakes and earthworm flakes, both from kensfish. My females are always popping out a mixture of males and females. | |

| Try hatching BBS to feed the fry and also it's a good conditioner for breeding adults. | |

| Your homemade discus food would be fine to feed them from time to time. Play with the temp and see if that changes the fry sex. |

| had been breeding for 5 years and found that 80-82 was ideal, feeding fllake, earthworm, frozen bloodworm, and brine shrimp flakes produced more males than females. the fry also need the same combo only ground up very fine. Good luck! | |
