I was so excited I started yelling I have babies. My neighbors upstairs must have thought I was crazy.!!!

Okay so I have two females that spit today. Still have the male and another female in the tank. Which is a 55 gallon bow front. do I need to move the male and non pregnant female out of the tank?? can I just leave them all in there?

I wouldnt change anything. They seem to be doing fine as is. If you want to keep breeding them then you might want to add more of the same to the group...like 2 males 6-7 females. I would not put then by themselves ..the male might get mad at the female bc she wont breed right away again and kill her.

I will brake out the camarea and wait for a good shot. One female is hiding behind a rock I can only see her every now and again. But the other has taken up nursery room right behind the square pot perfect wide open corner of the tank.

Me personally, I always remove the female before she spits. This way I can keep track of all fry without trying to catch them(or their dad eating them). The man will still bug the hell out of holding females trying to spawn too. Females are wake from holding and not eating for weeks so they need a stressless environment, so they can get back to 100%.

This is how I do all my females once I notice their holding.
