looking to stock my new cichlid tank

got a 45gal i turned into a cichlid tank sand bottom, slate structor. im trying to figure out what fish to get and if theres a good place to get fish around hampton va.

not sure where to get anything up there but peacocks would be good and you could put some shellies in there too

thats what i was thinking i gess ill just see whats at the pet store

well just got 6 for the tank going back next week to get more trying to find out how many i can put in a 45 these are about 1 to 2 in so there still litttle

What kind of filtration do you have

canister raited for up to a 75 gal does about 160 gal an hr

I would do like 10-15. Might not look like much to begin with but they will grow fairly quick depending on what you get
