I just got a 20g tank two weeks ago and I was wondering if I could put a red tailed shark in. The lady at the fish store said that i was stupid for wondering that. Why???

It seems that we will not get anymore fish for the tank because we are at capacity; but I am fine with this and everything seemes to be happy! This is also my first tank so i am trying to take it slow.

Yea you would def want a redtail in a bigger tank. I have one in a 55 gallon tank with tetras some rainbows and a krib. The tank belongs to him and he knows it. He is fun to watch but he chases everyone. I may end up doing some adjusting and put him in a different setup actually, but that will depend on if I have to move as well.
