Hello From North Texas

Hey ya'll,

My name is Dan. I'm loving the community here and thank ya'll for allowing me to join. Before I begin, I would like to tell explain where my user name came from. Long story short, I picked up a small tank from a fella that obviously had not cared for his tank in a very long time. As I'm cleaning this tank, unaware of any inhabitants, I lift a piece of drift wood to have a skinny little African Dwarf Frog jump out at me. Sitting there a little shocked, I look to my wife sitting beside me. She looks me dead in the face as serious as can be and says "Honey, it's a little jumperstein" After a few minutes of laughter, I decided to nurse this little guy back to health. Mr. Jumperstein has since become a well loved member of our aquatic family and spends just about every morning sitting in my hand munching on blood worms.

Me in a nut shell -

Spent some time pursuing a degree in marine biology where I built everything from little Koi ponds to large bass ponds with the professor. I then majored in the school of hard knocks, family, and bills. Throughout all of this, I somehow fell into a management career for the natural organic food business and spend my nights looking after our aquatic family as well as my 12 year old son. Our family loves the fish so much they have their own full size bedroom I thank the lord for blessing me with a wife that loves these little guys as much as I do. Anyways, I look forward to meeting ya'll and will post my current tanks over in the appropriate area.
