Let me start by saying I have the most wonderful kids. Any time we go out to places we always get compliments on how well behaved they are. With that being said the 1 thing that makes that possible is they all have what I call "The FEAR". They are scared of what will happen when they get into trouble. Being a Police Officer formthe past 10 years and my wife a Teacher for the past 12 we both have a great deal of expierence dealing with chaos. Parker the oldest loves the fish, and he is always helping take care of them any way he can. He is working on doing water changes by himself. He has his own 10 gallon tank with guppies in his room that he takes care of. We have a lot of fun, and the kids keep us busy.

Oh, I know the issue of being the "kid of a cop".. my dad served 32 years! As a punk kid, he took me on a tour of the small town jail! I think it's called "scared straight"! Not to say I didn't give the folks more than their fair share of grey hair!

My dad was a cop too. I was a total he'll raiser as a teen. It's a miracle he didn't just shoot me. I know I'm gonna pay for it with my kids, but I still know a lot of tricks from dealing with kids so they better start planning now. I have 160 pair of eyes that will be watching.
