| Well it has been a busy few days as I just finished setting up a 75 gallon freshwater with an Emporer 280 and a Marineland 350 Magnum filters, and a 20 gallon shrimp tank. The shrimp tank I filled with 10 gallons cycled water from my other two 20 gallon tanks (5 gallons each) and filtered water that has zero chlorine and only .03ppm chloramine once it exits the solid carbon block filter (I still treat water with stress coat and stress zyme). This tank has two bags of eco-complete with a bag of 1/4-1/2 inch black aquarium gravel topped with some Lace rock, Lava rock, and a piece of pumice.
I started the 75 gallon tank with 28 gallons cycled water from Petsmart's sumps (I took a 30 gallon nalgene barrell that has a valve at the bottom to drain it... made for easy transport of water, and then I finished filling with the filtered water (this tank will be fish and no shrimp as the Albino Rainbow shark and the Raphael Striped cat are really too big for the 20 gallon tank each of them being six plus inches in length.
I also had an order of 50 Cardinal shrimp arive from Hong Kong (40 arrived alive and about five more died durring acclimation via a drip line one drop of my water at a time into the water they were in. I now have active Sulawesi Cardinal shrimp in that tank only and have seen a couple shed exoskeletons meaning some have molted.
I'll get some pictures up in the next few days.
So now there are three 20 gallon tanks and one 75 gallon in the house.
