| I don't think they are legal to be kept here in Texas. Might need a special permit to keep them. Most of all someone would need at least a 10'x10'x5' monster tank for them | |

I would if I have the $$$ to buy it and have the permit and a big tank to house it. That sucker can grow up to 3 meters. Right now it is about 12-16". Someone offered it to me and sent me the pics. They cost $4.5K | |

| From my understanding of the law is that if the fish is from Australia then you can have one without a permit but if it originates from Asian you have to have it chipped and all the paperwork for it. I may be somewhat wrong with the info due to the fact that they cost so much and I realized I would never get it haha. | |

| Yes its illegal in Texas. You could still buy it and have it for a few days before you DONATE it the your local zoo. Yes very neat fish. | |
