This is interesting and very sad at the same time. Something needs to be done before it's too late for our oceans.

| Massive fish kills are happening all over it's not just the Oceans that are in trouble and it's not the fault of any one person or thing it's over population,greed and the all mighty dollar etc.... it's a sign of the times and nature has a way of fighting back. whats the best way to take down human over population? "Starvation"and "Disease" with a population currently estimated to be 6.93 billion humans are depleting/polluting the environment faster than it can recover, we are like a disease on this Planet which we all inhabit, We are not destroying the environment as much as activating a 'defense mechanism' of sorts to 'disinfect' or keep the levels in check, if you will. jmho

| This has been a great item of discussion amongst us grad students in the MSU Geoscience program. There is a term used for this period extinction: the great holocene extinction event.
Yep, by holocene - we mean modern homo sapien dominated time period. | |
