| Angels & plants would look real cool!!!
If I could figure out how to heat the 1000g without going broke, would be putting oodles of the SA's in it to grow out or would make one heck of cool african tank LOL

| I showed my wife and looked lovingly at her. She said no before I could even ask. | |

| Would there be a chance of the cats "fishing" for a snack on angels in it? I have no idea if cats would do that - maybe I've seen too many cartoons as a kid! The cats probably don't want to get wet, lol. This is the best place for a pond I've seen yet! Especially this time of year when it would be frozen solid and no way to enjoy it. You've got the DIY thing NAILED! | |

| Why Thank you Tank Girl. The cats only bother fish that jump out of the tanks. |

| You've got some lucky critters who get such an awesome slice of nature at home, Vixen. :)
My husband has been pestering me to do a pond, so now I can show him another option that he might not have thought of!
Where did you get it? Can you describe how you put it up, what you put it on, and how you rigged the fountain part? You're going to have to write a book someday...

| Actually set up was quite easy. Thick concrete headers under the house with 4 x4 up to the joists. I added 8 of them (overkill). I found the ponds on CL 2 250gal and 1-150 gal with 2 Rena pond pumps and paid $20 for everything. The guys wanted them out of his garage.I made a rough frame for the outer part under the tank and they are on boxes that are filled with wood pieces for strength. |
