Snails, hermits, emerald crabs, nudibranchs.....welcome to the club. I let mine get out of hand when I started my tank over a year ago and am still fighting with it. Because my fish guy told me to let some grow and then buy something to eat it. Never again!

Is it the green hair algae, I was told my phosphates were to high and purchased a special filter pad media. It is now starting to go away.

Turn out your light for like 3-4days. Check the phosphates, always use RO water.Rabbitfish or tang will also help.
