Ok, so, for the past week my angels have been cleaning leaves. (Plastic sword plants) yesterday I went to skoolz of fish to get some guppies and when I came home, there were eggs in my angel tank - seperate tank from guppies. Well, this pair has bred before but always ate the eggs once I turn the light out. I guess the other breeding pair and lone angel in that tank are intimidating. So I haven't turned the light out and about 30 eggs have gone bad and turned white. But there is still a whole mess of them left. My question. Will eggs keep going bad up until they hatch? And do y'all think if I turned the light out even if they hatch, they will eat the fry? Thanks!

do not urn off the light add some methylene Blue after using tweezers to remove the white fungus eggs. I add it daily till fry are 1 day free swimming. do a 20% water change every day till fry are around 3 weeks free swimming then every 3 days.

You sure it was the parents eating the fry? 5 angels in the same tank parents are going to get worked as soon as lights go out ...try an led light to give moonlight effect so they can see what is going on even when it is darker...if you want to save them sounds like best bet is to rear them in a seperate tank.

Yes, I watched them eat the eggs before... I removed some of the white eggs. The angel bites were starting to hurt(I have super sensitive hands). I will try to remove more tomorrow on my day off.

Have a male angel named Jaws because he has no qualms about biting!!!

If in the craft section of a local store, sometimes you can find the really long plastic tweasers like used for beading they work well for removing bad eggs along with giving you a bit of room in the sense from getting bit.
