What kind of cichlid could I put in a 20long

I was thinking trying cichlids but the only tank I can use is my 20 long unless will be fine wit an oscar lol. If there is any that will be good gor a first time cichlid owner that be nice to know but if not it will be a oscar for a while.

A M/F pair of Rainbow cichlids would be nice, in a 20G long I dont think I would put much with them...maybe some danios for a dither. Awesome color...and very personable. Also look at the Cryptoheros species, a M/F pair of most of them would also be doable in a 20G long.

Kribensis breed like crazy and have great personality IMO. They will work great in your tank.

Ya I dont mind them breeding lol just dont hav a place for them to grow out and if the ones do survive then ill take them to my pet store. Ive been reading alot about rach dwarf cichlid. They would luke my water and I keep my tanks very clean as im bit of a clean freak wen it comes to my fish

Yes SA/CA dwarfs usually like nice clean water. I keep mine similar to conditions for angels not quite up to discus standards.

Ive lost.count of how many water changes I do lol but I can tell my prime bottles goes bout once a month with the 14 fl oz size lol tons of extensive water changes on my wild ones the most so doing wayer changes even at midnight is a normal thing in my house. I was thinking bout pand dwarf cichlods or the double full red cockatoo cichlid.as well. But I havent decided lol It hard

I did but theres not very mamy that are colorful to me I guess lol or idk if they will show more color wen they grow up. I want some that is vibrant not one color or dull. This will be my only chance until I move somewhere else which could be 5 years. We hav no more wall space actually my apartment consists of walkways and their tight too lol. I hav to crawl on my bed to get to my other 10 gallon. And the only space we hav is our den which is less than a 12x12 stall, maybe 8x6 area. Ah n my boyfriend puts up with my tanks n me blabbing about my fish.
