| how do i get rid of the layer of film or whatever it is on the low of the water...??
thought the filter and protiem skimmer would do it but doesn't seem to be.. | |

| almost forgot... it's a 60 gal tank with 1/3 water changes every weekend... my filter is for a 75 gal... so it works super good... so idk... | |

| you need surface movement!!!!!! by a powerhead and point it upwater to get a rippled water effect!!!! dont use a bubble wand!! those look wack in SW tanks!! lol so yea! that or get a sump with an overflow box!!!! JUST BREAK THE SURFACE! | |

| Oh, the dreaded surface film. I remember my first run in with it and my frantic search in the middle of the night to figure out what I was doing wrong. Glad it's taken care of and you can go back to enjoying your tank! | |

| you should get and over flow box!!!!! that way the water is always moving/ falling into your sump!!! ull never have film or anything on your waters surface!!!! and it also keeps water moving! | |
