That's just a jaw bone I found in the woods, not sure on what kind of dog, I do have a pitbull and raccoon skull in other tanks, also found in the woods. The bone helps with the PH raising just as well as shell would.

Pilli, I just found out that 3 of them are half banded loaches and not true kuhlis and theres a chocolate one and a black one, and yes those are them I'm sure they will love it at your place

No color yet, a few are starting to get a gleam to them though. I would guess 2"
