Nice fish pillier. You got it from aquabid right? Just be very careful with those Thais. I know they list there fish as being 3-4 months old but believe me as a breeder there is NO way a fish gets that big at that age. My friend who shows her fish that I get mine from we have both agreed that they have to be about 8-9 months old which is still ok.

thx thx im getting off of aquabid.com hes in thailand but they ship in bulk so i would be able to get him pretty cheap maybe 50 or 60 but my boyfriend paying 35 for him

and i figured its like buying a horse cant tell wat u get until u do the whole sh-bang i mean xrays vet taking blood u name it to get a good horse, so i figured it would be the same as fish and any animals really

He looks like a Dragon Betta. Is that what they have him listed as? That is a whole different strain from what you already have.

If you are planing on using him for breeding you should have a female Dragon to pair him with.

They have loads of Dragon females listed on aquabid. The dragons are called that because there scales are bigger and thicker. Most of the people that buy and sell on aquabid are show people and are looking for show stock. You can use him for breeding with your others if you don't care about the quality of the fry. if you are just going to give them away to friends that's ok but your pure strains will be broken and there no good for anything else.

okay would it be easier for me to find a female here in the states if i do get him, im just wondering since he would be a large sum of money that if i do get him would i hav to pay a large sum of money to get a female? and would it be wise to get the other male of the breeder that u got ur other male from lol all confusing isnt it.

Keep looking and see if you can find something in the states. Sometimes you can find a seller who will offer and pair together. Also you may find another male in the states that you like just as well that won't cost you so much. which should make your BF happy. LOL. The rest is entirely up to you.

That is a very nice looking fish.... but I agree with whisper, find something in the states that you like and that you can get a female of the same kind, the shipping will be cheaper and you wont have the language issue to deal with.

The only ones I have right now are marbles. Males and females. Oh wait I just remembered I have a couple down at the store. They are blues and greens BHM males and females. If you want something different keep looking on aquabid. Sometimes you just have to keep looking each day. You can occationally get them cheaper on there. They will be the ones that aren't quite show quality but I don't think your worried about that. They are just ones that breeders are trying to get rid of.......... By the way, have your BF sign an aggrement. LOL

lmao yep he did but still hes very forgetful, but i do like the male that u hav the brother, he is very pretty, he was the original one but i started to look lol
