| thx will do wat i can. it will hav more fish in it but im im worried somethin else is goin to happen, and i will prob get more fish once my male balloon molly is better. once hes better it will be stock more and much nicer. i will do a dift wood in it too, where should i put the drift wood? i was thinking in the middle since it has nothin there. im goin to move the big colloseum back further and put a whole bunch of plants in front and leave an entrance to it, so it will be like a hage cage. | |

| I agree with the more natural look. Also, a solid color background. I personally like a black background. I've found that it brings the colors out in the fish. Another thing I would do is get some more plants. Fish seem to really like live plants, no matter what they are. And last, I would DEFINITELY get some driftwood. The nicest stuff I've found is mopani driftwood at PetSmart or PetCo like you would use in a terrarium. It is cheap and it always has some neat shapes. Just soak it in hot water for a week in a large bin. I took an old heater and put it in the water and turned it up all the way and all you have to do is 100% water change every day for a week and you've leached all the tannin out of the wood and it'll be safe! | |

| Ya, its amazing what they charge for wood, this way you can find that really cool branchy piece. I always look for cool bends and twists and branches sticking off at odd angles. But I have a whole dead orange tree to pick and chose from... |

| ah ya i might go wher i board my horse and go out in pasture and find some dead wood there. but i want to get the live ones to so i can steam it and bend them in diff ways. u can do it wen their still alive and either steam it or boil it and bend them, let say in a loop, after u bend it to a loop then u tie it to hold let it dry and there u go a loop. | |

| She's right. And it is much easier to find live wood. Only problem is, it takes a long time to leach. | |
