I use it at work to make chemicals with. Never tried it with the tanks though.

yes it works. Look at a product like Zip Drop. Its also used to develope film.

Favorite Fish: : abn plecos right now. But it changes so much, I see a new fish and want to keep it, too. That's how I got so many tanks. I really want some rams and loaches now.

I have been using it, in all my tanks for about 6 months. Haven't had any problem.
It won't remove chloramines. If you live in a city check to see what they add to the water.

Ok but unfortunately we have chloramine in the tap here. I guess its pond prime for me.
